About This Guide

JEE Advanced for admission to 23 IITs + IISc + select institutes. Top 2.5 lakh from JEE Mains qualify. Conducted by IIT (host changes annually). Two papers, 3 hours each, on same day. Negative marking. ~17,000 IIT seats. Apply at jeeadv.ac.in.

Eligibility Criteria

JEE Mains top 2.5 lakh qualifier
Indian citizen
Age below 25 (30 for SC/ST/PwD)
Max 2 attempts in 2 consecutive years
12th with min 75% (65% SC/ST) OR top 20 percentile board
PCM in 12th

Pay Fee

₹2,800 Gen/OBC, ₹1,400 SC/ST/Women/PwD.

Submit

Save Application Number.

Admit Card

2 weeks before exam (May).

Exam Day

Paper 1 (morning) + Paper 2 (afternoon). Same day.

Result

Within 10 days. JEE Advanced rank declared.
